Politics... HA!

Ok, so here goes my opinion... If it pisses you off, that's my right! Please by all means, go look it up!

The right to freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). The ICCPR recognizes the right to freedom of speech as "the right to hold opinions without interference. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression."[1][2] Furthermore freedom of speech is recognized in European, inter-American and African regional human rights law.

Now, on to what I have to say...

Washington, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE re-read your constitution!

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF!

My religion does not recognize the Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve BS! MY religion is based on love and believes that no matter the gender, race or creed, EVERYONE has the right to be married to the one they love! How can I trust or even agree with a country, a political establishment, a government who doesn't abide by it's own f-ing rules???

Seriously? You say and try to act as though you represent 'the people' but 'the people' includes ALL of us. You can't be biased and go by one religions creed and ignore the rest! When will Washington wake up? We have the RIGHT to love who we want, to speak of what we want, and to believe what we want... Why can't you abide by your own laws and amendments? Am I the only one who sees this as a breach of our rights???

The civil rights of none shall be abridged on account of religious belief or worship, nor shall any national religion be established, nor shall the full and equal rights of conscience be in any manner, or on any pretext, infringed.

nor shall any national religion be established
nor shall any national religion be established
nor shall any national religion be established
nor shall any national religion be established
